A pro tennis player focusing on winning slams and being top of the tour shouldn't be spending more than 30 min on any social media app. All their time of rest should come from family and friends or some kind of traditional entertainment.

Insta/Social media as a whole is a very quick entertainment method. Its amazing if used within limits, its an absolute curse if used beyond it.

Alcaraz is right. Rune should have put a sock in his mouth a long time ago.

Rune came to the big stage and practically beat everybody. He fell apart mentally and isn't able to beat the top players anymore and yet he still claims he is part of the new big 3.

I don't see what his way back is but I know he needs to be a lot more humble.

Btw he might not participate at the olympics due to a wrist injury:

They are not handling their social media profiles.
Its member x of team A vs member y of team R.
That's a myth IMO. Speaking for myself I would never let anyone even write a single sentence in my name.

At best a helper might convert the thoughts of a certain player into a more coherent grammar/style. And of course people will give an advice what someone COULD write. But in the end everyone is resposible for their own actions.

a clown who calls himself new big 3, says he will win 15 french opens, throws manchild tantrums on and off the court ... definitely a trash talker....

Some years from now, when Rune wins more slams than Alcaraz, this will be known as the moment when the beast inside him awakened.
He definitely needs an epiphany moment where he tells himself that the world can go to hell and show what he's made of. He needs to find defiance and inner strenght.
Right now he doubts himself.

Whether it will happen or not is up to him. He has the game.

With all the social media and stuff today it's not fun to be named a "trash talker" but I don't know. I feel Rune is mostly misunderstood. But He had to mention someone.
