"Today I'm happy, extra happy, because she didn't lose it; I took it. Like, I was playing really well. This is for me the most important." --Yulia Putintseva, after defeating Iga Swiatek 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.

“My tank of really pushing myself to the limits became suddenly, like, empty,” said Swiatek, whose best run at Wimbledon remains her quarterfinal finish last year.

“I was kind of surprised. But I know what I did wrong after Roland Garros. I didn't really rest properly. I'm not going to make this mistake again.

“After such a tough clay-court season, I really must have my recovery. Maybe that's also the reason. But I thought that I'm going to be able to kind of play at the same level.

“I feel like on grass I need a little bit more of that energy to keep being patient and accept some mistakes. Like mentally, I didn't really do that well on this tournament.

“I need to recover better after clay-court season, both physically and mentally.”

People making fun of gen Z as if the entire world isn't also on social media and always been super petty.
Yeah or how boomers would instead just explode like babies on court like John McEnroe or go out and punch/choke players or kick linesman lmao.

I’d take an unfollow anyday.

Rune's main problem is that he is not even a man in entirety. ...

He has the mind of a 11 year old and body of a 21 year old man, unless both body and mind come in sync he has no future and by the time it gets in sync he will be almost 30.

He is mamma's boy. His mother has pampered him for long and still does. Often he snaps out at her when he wants to break independent. It will take a long time for him to mature up. By then it will be too late

That's a myth IMO. Speaking for myself I would never let anyone even write a single sentence in my name.

At best a helper might convert the thoughts of a certain player into a more coherent grammar/style. And of course people will give an advice what someone COULD write. But in the end everyone is resposible for their own actions.

You might be correct that Rune writes his own Instagram posts and Tweets. But to me your first two sentences make the mistake of assuming that what you would want personally is what everyone wants. I also would not want someone to write my social media posts for me, but many celebrities do have teams who do this. Politicians, for example, are so busy that they can't keep up with their social media accounts but it is important to their careers that they have active accounts, so they hire people to do it for them - with guidance, of course, but the guidance is often general (e.g. which sort of style does the figure want?) rather than specific (e.g. referring to a particular tweet). For example, there were a few articles during Trump's presidency about how some linguistic scholars had done analysis of his tweets to show which ones he wrote himself and which ones were written by his aides.

Now, Rune might well not be a big enough figure to need or want such a team, but there is no doubt that such teams exist.
