Breathe 2k12 or Vapor9 or courtballistec 4.3?

I own a V8 and a barricade 6.0 and a adizro feather asia. However I think V8 is too soft. Adidas shoes are so ordinary. So i want to know the difference & advantages of breathe 2k12, V9 and courtballistec 4.3.
Does anyone has tried all of them?

I've only had the Vapor and 4.3, but from what I hear the 2k12 is really a happy medium between the two, without the real great advantage of either.

But I can say that the Vapors are the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned, period. They somehow hug the foot so well, and are low to the ground, which I really like.

I switched to the 4.3's because the Vapors are not very durable. The 4.3s feel fine, but nowhere near as comfy as the vapors. But the good news about the 4.3's is that they last much longer. I had a pair of 3.3's that lasted a long long time, and I can already see after a couple of weeks how much more durable the 4'3s are from the vapors.

So if you want a fast and just out of this world comfortable shoe, that you will have to replace more often, go with the Vapor.

If you want a long lasting shoe that really commands the court, but may feel a bit clunky, go with the Ballistics.

I miss my Vapors personally, but for a time at least, the cost to keep using them was too much.

thaks a lot. Can you compare V8 & V9 if you have both? Cause V8 has LUNARLON, and V9 has ZOOM. For me, LUNARLON is too soft. I havent wore ZOOM shoes. So ,what's the feeling of ZOOM(compared with LUNARLON)?

Honestly no clue. I wasn't a truly serious player until about a year ago, if that. So the first time I ever even thought about shoes was with the 3.3. The Vapors are just very comfortable, and fit better, but not necessarily that much softer than the 4.3's is what I mean. The Vapors just fit so well, while I've had some issues with the 4.3.

thank you all the same!:)

I've worn zoom in the past, lunarlon is softer. Zoom doesn't absorb shock as well as I'd like so I throw in some Sof Sole insoles.

Vapors are the best fit but I wear out the soles in 3 weeks, ugh. I'm in a pair of 2k11s now that were on sale, I thought they were too stiff at first (compared to a new set of Vapors) but are breaking in nicely after about 5 hours. The fit is ok, more like a ski boot than the soft fit of Vapors though.

then how's the feeling of zoom? can our feet really feel its existence? i think v8 is really soft & comfy but is poor in breathe, in addition, too easy to worn out. what about 2K11? you know ,2K11&2K12's sole is same as V6's. so i am looking forward to it!

Lunarlon sucks compared to Zoom Air. Zoom Air offers much better cushioning and these 9s bring back the cushioning and secure feel that was present in Vapor 6s which Nike messed up when they came out the Vapor 7s.

I am so glad they came to their senses and brought back what made the Vapor 6s great. Now let's see how Nike screws this up when they come out with the Vapor 10s later next year or the following year.

i think V6 & V8 are good looking, while V9 is a bit worse. But it's roger's. that's just why i want to own it

I'm on my 2nd pair of V9 this summer. I can agree with some of what has been said here about them. Very light and comfortable. They are definitely not the most durable sole on hard courts. And, the insole seems to make a squishing noise from sliding against the upper...hard to explain. Overall, I like the V9.

I also just picked up a pair of the 2k12 and have played about 6 hrs in them. Definitely stiffer and clunkier than the V9. But, I can already tell that the soles will hold up a lot better than the V9. The 2k12 tongue is too short, IMO. And, I'm not a big fan of the odd lacing system...seems contrived and unnecessarily complicated. Even so, I like the 2k12. I have the black/blue glow colorway - cool.

I'm also using a new pair of Asics G4. They're more comfortable, flexible and less clunky than the 2k12. The sole seems like it will be somewhere in between the 2k12 and V9 in terms of durability. I like the G4, especially in this black/red colorway.

If play a lot on the courts, get the best shoe regardless of which one looks the best and I can say the Vapor 9s are the best shoe out there with the exception of durability which can be an issue if you are a kid playing everyday, cost can really add up.

If you remove the insoles and replace them with a custom orthotics, that won't be an issue. Most of the insoles that come with these shoes are pretty cheap and worthless in my opinion. As far as the GR4s, they are great shoes, probably the best compromise if durability factors into your decision.

I have tried the 2k10 zooms and it was kinda in between a CB 3.3 and Vapor 7s in terms of cushioning, comfort, and durability. They have made them better looking in recent updates.

I played in CB 3.3's for the past year, and have just given up on them because of slipping issues whenever I play high level opponents who force me to change direction more abruptly than usual. High level for me is 4.5 league #1 singles players.

That drove me back into the arms of Adidas, whose shoes I've never had that problem with, but I had a pair of 3.3's that were within warranty... so I bought the 2K12's.

I played in them for the first time yesterday. They are solid. They are narrow enough for my feet - maybe would take some breaking in for folks with wide feet. They have a fine herringbone sole, so the traction is better even though they are also made of XDR. I don't think they'll be very durable, but that's compared to CB's and Barricades. Compared to speed shoes, they'll probably do fine.

I like them. They seem to be a nice compromise. I wish Nike made a shoe like this with the 6-month warranty, but I don't think it's possible.
