Because they did not want to see it. His 2009 RG victory over Nadal was dismissed as a 'fluke' win by many. Of course, his excellent 2010 season should have opened their eyes (and I hope it has by now). About the most consistent player all throughout 2010 - that is NEVER a 'fluke'!

If there is ONE player who I would like to see taking a GS title this year besides Fedal, it's Sod.

I'd like to see him make a run at the Aussie Open, but the extent to which he struggles with heat is largely understated. He's not as dramatic as someone like Djokovic, but he does appear extremely lethargic when the Australian sun starts beating down on him.
