do you think murray can win a French open title?
can wardy or dan evans make the 1st round?
ask Fred Perry, Ann Jones or Sue Barker about
Consult Fognini on this one.
fognini is one of the best clay courter today so for murray to play doubles and singles the day before it was a tough ask. not to mention fognini playing as well as he could. otherwise both at their best it would have been much closer.
murray as result of being tired was serving poorly. ward had a good showing he got a set at fogninis average (on his worst surface in my opnion), son hard or grass could have won it tbh
but that's getting away from the point
Who has Murray ever beaten on clay that gives you any hope he can beat the top players on clay?
I hope he was just tired after 2 matches the day before, he has a good 2 weeks training block before Madrid so im hoping for a good run there
It wasn't a win but Murray did serve for the match in the Rome'11 SF, at the time the closest anyone had come to ending the perfect season Djok was building.
Can Andy Murray win the French Open?
Well, if he hires Mats Wilander as his coach...
I have Muzzito locked for this one...no doubt in my mind
Fred's no longer about to ask but, in addition to Ann and Sue, you can ask Angela Mortimer, Shirley Bloomer and Christine Truman!
he's beat: gael monfils, gronlloer, gilles simon, davydenko, fognini, robredo, cilic, seppi, gasquet, bagdatis, took sets off rafa at motecarlo, mayer,
but I have to admit he would need a easy draw or some of them being oof their game. but he could he is defensive fast and tactically aware and some of them are good players on the dirt
And Annabel Croft but not because of her tennis history. Just because she is Annabel Croft.
No. Murray will never win RG
He has a chance if he enters, but it's not a good one. His current record is not the best, but sometimes a field breaks up and things fall right. As someone outside of 1 & 2 you nearly guaranteed meeting Nadal & Djokovic in the SF & Final. There's not enough age difference to rely on Nadal and Djokovic retiring to make a difference. But he has a chance.
