Bryan Bros and foot faults.

struggle

Legend
Was in Cincy last week and caught the B Bros loss to Nestor/Roger-Vaselin.

Mike Bryan foot faults, just barely, on almost every serve.
I saw him called for it three times, maybe four in the match.

Bob does not do so.

I found it odd that Mike didn't back up a half inch or so.

That is all.

FWIW, I was pulling for the Bros so no angle here.
Just an observation.

Are the officials pandering to them? Could have called it ad nauseum....

Which emphasizes the point I have often made that even the pros will come unglued if they really had to adjust to avoid FFing. Enforcement of FF goes way beyond any arguments about why 2 inches should make any difference to the serve speed, etc., which is the same as arguing that a ball which is 2 inches out is actually in because there is essentially no difference.

Imagine if they were playing the Murray brothers at Wimbledon, you'd see a lot more foot faults called, I bet. Ignore sureshs, he is special.
