No, not in a full-bed, only in a hybrid.Hoodjem,
What is your opinion of Hexablade? Have you tried this in a full bed? At what tension?
In my experience, nothing comes close to Pro Supex Blue Gear in spin production...
Does anyone know which of these spin strings listed above would be the softest?
No, even though Fed uses it and gets great spin.
"This Natural Gut and Luxilon ALU Rough hybrid offers the ultimate combination of playability and control. Can be strung with either string in the mains to enhance either durability or playability and is the same as the string set-up used by Roger Federer.
It's all in the name. Wilson Champions Choice is a hybrid of two of the most popular strings on tour: Wilson Natural Gut and Luxilon ALU Power Rough. Combining the ultimate playability of a high quality natural gut with the durability, spin and control of a textured polyester gives the player the best of both worlds. For durability and control, use the Luxilon ALU Power Rough in the mains. For a softer feel and playability, use the Wilson Natural Gut in the mains."
Pure hype.
According to the TW Professor, it's not pure hype, it's the real deal.

Care to explain? And the Tornado 1.23 is spinnier than the 1.17.

The gut/poly hybrid has a lower CoF than a full poly does. I think though it should be noted that not all polys are the same and not all guts are the same so it should not be said that all gut/polys are more spin friendly then all polys
Resurrected for convenience.Softest Spin Strings--
Kirschbaum Spiky Shark 1.25 ($12.00 from TW)
Polyfibre TCS 1.20 ($11.90 from TW)
Solinco Tour Bite 18 1.16 ($11.50 from TW)
Polyfibre Black Venom 1.25 ($12.90 from TW)
......How does that even need explanation?Care to explain?
No, no it doesn't.Luxilon bb ace will blow any of the strings on the list away.
But I don't think we can regard it as soft.Luxilon bb ace will blow any of the strings on the list away.
+1 Spinfire Ignition 17
Off the top of my head, I could name you four D1 and D2 college players who play full synthetic gut, or Gosen Polylon/ syn gut in the case of two of them. Price does not determine how good a string is. What a person thinks of it determines how good it is. There's a reason why people rave about Sheep Micro and Spiral Flex but not about PSG because although the latter is many times more expensive, the former two blow PSG out of the water.Hahaha - that is hilarious!!
Sorry for being rude, but this is really a below average cheap string.. A few tournament players and I were having a good old laugh about how many kids use this because it is so cheap, and how they believe it is better than Alu Power, PHT, RPM Blast etc.. There are a heap of people I know who have tried a Babolat or Luxilon string and have never looked back.
