Dude is playing crazy tennis, dont think it will work vs revamped attacking Meds
but hoping to see a great final. The volleys from Alex were ridiculous vs Karen.

If Bublik is using Razor soft rated @ 212lb" its night & day to RPM team 282lb"
Yet Tecnifibre Black Code 4S 17 holds better tension and softer @ 209lb"

Razor soft like RPM with the silicone mix both go dead quickly but not for pros

I’ve seen pictures with rpm blast 1.30 so I highly doubt he changed to razor soft.

Well… It worked
 
It’s crazy with the tfight he was with razor soft/gut.
Now that he’s switched to the PA98 he’s repping full poly again and ripping the ball through the court.

Unsure which version of the Tfight he was using (iso or xtc?) but maybe going from his old 16M Yonex to an 18M wasn’t suitable to his game.

I wonder what grip size it goes down to? I went from size 4 without og grip and 3 thick over-grips, got to size 3 feels plush.
Dan Evans supposedly uses one overgrip over removed og grip which would have to be a decent over-grip to not get blisters.

The guy has some serious skill and hitting a Haas-like OHBH winner better than Stef can was ace.
Also trajectory is flatter than Raz but arguably hitting faster more often, reminded me of peak Delpo.
He might not win Slams but seeing his tennis is like a Lanky version of Carlitos, a welcome sight in
the mass drone era we suffered for 2 decades.

Im sure he doesnt want to end up like the Kazhac version of Kyrgios and maximizing his potential for now.
He might just be happy with recemt paychecks helpin his young family and then turn off again, we shall see.

Lol I hit an ace when I served for the first time with my new Head Prestige Classic 2.0 ... I think it's the happy, excited and positive feeling of trying a brand new shiny racquet that contribute to the ace lol.
 
Never thought that Moutet>Meds>Bublik the black sheep on tour are putting on
some of the best shows in tennis apart from Carlitos.

I thought he said he started winning matches bcuz he went to Las Vegas. Was this in Vegas? He made it sound like all he did was drink and gamble there. What happens in Vegas, .. well u know

290 unstrung, there is no way. 315g may believe in that. 290 is what ladies use in club. Still curious how is getting so much control and precision without spinning the ball as much as Alcaraz. His rmps are much lower; I've even seen stats that his average rmp is quite low compared to top players. Would never think he could use aero.

Jonas from tennisnerd believes he went down to 290 SW, not static.
 
If you look closely at this video you can see that his coach is winding his grip WITHOUT a replacement grip.



This explains how the racket drops to 290g! (Stock Bab grip weight - lead added = weight loss of 15g)

It has more interesting details of how it was painted / dried etc...

How do you know, how many overgrips he uses, he can have another one over it. i just don't see any reason for him to use light racket. Aero98 might not need to be as heavy as prestige or balde but weight shoulb be reasonable, not 290g. Swingweight of 290 sounds more realistic than static weight in this range.

IMHO

The hitting power of a racket is the SW in the head. Handle weight and balance is more about timing the strokes and how rought it might be on his hands - His racket is now probably close to even balance. Best guess.

His TFibre was 320g unstrung I thought... But I havent looked into it.

A 325sw 8HH racket would be able to produce approximately the same ball as a 325SW 8HL racket - its all about player ability, preferences. His specs works for him.

If he's giving up a huge endorsement contract to play with a spraypainted racket it's gotta be a pretty good racket...

This to me is a bigger babolat endorsement than alcaraz is

Maybe they're in on it... "Tell everyone it's so good that we aren't even paying you and that it's a secret weapon".. sneaky babo
 
Bublik’s story is what all racquetaholics love to hear - the racquet’s the difference maker and not the player lol. Also destroyed the pro stock mystique. Plays blacked out retail racquet and starts winning.
