Bublik mocks Nadal and Murray: "Suddenly, one is bald and old"

- Murray's Role in Djokovic's Team

The Kazakh sees that, after his retirement at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Andy Murray is just clinging to the past: "Murray is trying to go back to what is no longer there. I think it's a problem, I hope the same doesn't happen to me. Maybe at 36, I'll play the Bangkok Challenger, but even so, I hope to leave with a clear conscience and soul." The Brit will join Novak Djokovic's team in the coming days to prepare for the 2025 Australian Open.

- Retirement of Nadal and Murray

Andy Murray and Rafa Nadal are two of the greatest players in history. Both reached the tennis Olympus for their legacy both on and off the court. However, Bublik sees their retirement "as a shame, more than a circus. They achieved everything, even us players looked at them in awe in the locker room and suddenly, one is bald and old. He's not the same and will never be the same."

"It's clear that I'm not Rafa, one wants to leave at their best moment. My legacy will be much smaller, if it can be called that"
, said Sascha, ending firmly about Rafa and Andy's retirement approach: "What happened with Murray and Nadal is a circus, I can't call it anything else."

- Skipped Anti-Doping Tests

Bublik was asked about the recent doping cases of Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek and explained that he skipped two out of the three tests a player can evade before being suspended for a year and a half: "I didn't notify the change of my home address from Monaco to St. Petersburg and they came looking for me in Monaco. That's how I missed the first test."

"The second time was different. On April 20 I registered for the ATP Geneva, starting on May 25. I received a notification that I had a second test because I hadn't informed the officials of my participation in Geneva. I had to report, but I wasn't sure whether to do it even though I had submitted the application. They equated this to a full anti-doping test pass".
Sascha explained that if he missed another one, the penalty would mean "the end of my career", so he spent a year "in a state of panic"

Bublik really just says the first thought that comes into his mind it seems....

The fact articles are reporting on Bublik's take of all players shows how far the "media" has fallen. This is a new level of reaching to try and keep the big named players in articles that will get clicks and it's embarrasing.

As someone currently ranked 33 and trending in the wrong direction, this is the only way he can make tennis headlines.

This is the same guy who used the handle of the racket to volley a shot. He has no respect for the game or himself. He is just here for the money.

Unlike punk, Bublik is a cheerful clown, so his unfortunate phrases should be taken with a grain of salt.

Yes, Bublik and Kyrgios are both morons, but I dislike Kyrgios the most of the two.
Maybe this is an idea for a poll. Kind of, which player do you respect the least in tennis?

He’s not wrong. At least Nadal called it quits when it was clear he was miles behind the required level. Murray continued for 6-7 years continuing to disgrace himself. And now he’s coaching Djokovic? Lol.

I enjoyed watching Bublik clown around until he was a sore loser that he lost the Newport title to Cressy and called him lucky the whole awards speech. It was extremely disrespectful.

Why is Bublik slandering bald guys? Being bald is irrelevant. Bald Agassi won Majors did he not?
Should we also count Rafa in that group? The official Rafa camp can confirm?

I like that there's a few characters on tour. Wouldn't be much fun if everyone was Casper Ruud (he's a good guy, but boring.).

He speaks as he plays, but for some rudeness equals honesty....

Steroids can both accelerate male pattern baldness or cause it in people who aren't genetically predisposed to the condition.

Anabolic steroids contain a synthetic version of testosterone, an androgen (male sex hormone) that plays a role in a form of hair loss known as androgenic alopecia, or male pattern hair loss.

Sure Bublik is being superficial.

But when a 22 GS winner plays at the level of top 200 you can't ignore that.

The visual does match his level and vice versa.

Bublik thinks he has a legacy :-D
In the original text he says exactly the opposite, i e that he won’t have any legacy and it’s ok this way.

And anyway he made underarm serve fancy. That's his legacy.

Weird comments from him, but I 100% agree on Murray. This is basically Djokovic paying his buddy to keep him around until he himself retires. The hell is Murray going to tell him that Djokovic doesn't already know, he's better than him in every aspect.
