Becker always makes me open the mouth wide...
his serves were blistering...

ps: its a bullet shot too
What impresses me the most about Boris' serves is how they behave POST bounce.
It's not like Sampras' or Ivanisevic's. Theirs look INCREDIBLY fast from contact point on. With Becker, they look normal while they travel through the air, but once they hit the ground, they look like they EXPLODE off the ground.

^This one's gotta be the winner so far (out of the groundstrokes). Nothing else looks anywhere near as fast.

Have a look at the point at 0.32 and then the two points in a row starting at 3.30. The one at 3.30 is a great example of why I think Gonzalez has the biggest backhand on tour when he goes for it. I don't think I've even seen Safin hit it as hard as I've seen Gonzo hit it from that wing. Strangely though, in threads on biggest backhand gonzo's name never comes up. I remember he hit a few more huge backhands in his match against Tsonga at the '09 us open.

At 7:00, so fast the umpire couldn't see it :)

BTW, how do you post a video so that the tracker automatically starts at the point you want it to? i.e., when you click on the link, the vid automatically starts at 7:00 instead of 0:00

That's probably the fastest forehand Fed ever hit in a pro match.
If that forehand by Nadal was 110mph, how fast was that? The ball seemed to be travelling much faster, the umpire hardly saw were it landed.

Nadal ends the point with a 106mph forehand winner...

Just find out a few minutes back, you have to add this kind of parameter to the link: "#t=xmyys", where x stands for the minutes and yy the seconds where you want the video to start by.
The way I linked above is an example. :)

Thanks. I'm really curious as to how fast that Fed fh was. It definitely looks quite a bit faster than Nadal's 106 mph forehand.
