Buttcap trap door issue - Yonex DR98

Hello TW,

I have just noticed my buttcap trap door is quite ugly now - I think the plastic covering has somehow come off and whatever it is underneath (silver foil or something) has been all scratched up.

I'm guessing the green has just come off leaving the silver foil showing or something?

What's interesting is my other racket has the plastic still intact in this section, but for some reason the silver foil underneath is still getting damaged somehow...

What's the best solution to this? I was thinking of getting a "Yonex Sony Smart Sensor Butt Cap" and just taking the trap door off it and putting that on. This is a DR98, would the Smart Sensor Butt Cap be the same thing as what's on there now? Would it fit properly?

Yes, you are correct. The Yonex Sony Sensor Butt Cap Trap door will fit on your DR 98. You can just pop out the old trap door and replace with the new one.
