Buying a Babolat...

I'm trying to decide what babolat racquet I want to buy and I narrowed it down to these two racquets:

Babolat Aeropro Drive GT
Babolat Aeropro Lite GT

Is there really any significant difference between these two racquets? besides a few minor specifics, are there any qualities that make these racquets distinct from one another? If so, let me hear your input.

hahaha luls at the post 2 above me xD.

what feels best to you? this type of thread is done everyday, so I generally ask this (everyone does).

i was just wondering because i found the drive at a good price on another site and if they were the same i was gonna get the drive

if you must disgrace yourself by buying a babolat (haha jk ), then you should get the regular aero pro drive. you'll probably outgrow the lite very fast and want to get the heavier one sooner or later anyway. and if its cheaper, then its a no brainer.

Racquet snobs. The aeropro feels really nice. Like a cushioned launchpad. I really like the aeropro a lot. So much energy leaving the racquet, the power and spin is addicting to play. I feel like I could still blast the ball around well into my late years just because that racquet has so much juice. The sweet spot is very pleasant and feels like a more absorbed/cushioned version of the Pure Drive with the power and depth of the pure drive substituted and exchanged for the element of spin. One of my all time favorites to hit with.

One feels like cheap plastic and another feels like lite cheap plastic.

Just to all the people above who are bashing the brand. What works for you may not work for someone else. So please keep that in mind.

To the original poster, demo both and find out which one you prefer.

Definitely go with the Aeropro gt standard, that's what Nadal uses. If you want to hit with the kind of spin and power that Nadal has go with the standard edition.

It's true, I was a 3.5 and one week after purchasing the GT I am now ranked in the top 500 in the world. I have a feeling I will win the Australian Open in January.
