New User
iam plannig on buying a new stringing machine
and the price i expect to spend is around
500-700
can anyone recommend me a machine
i was thinking of the gamma X-ST
is that good?
and where can i learn to string properly?
thanks for the help

I think that is a good choice. Some sites have videos to get you started and I would think Gamma would give a short description in their manual.

Might find a club/proshop that will let you hang out for a couple of rackets and give you some tips...

Good Luck with your purchase

In that price range I'd also recommend the Alpha Revo 4000. The Alpha site doesn't have the picture of the current model on there, however. Contact Mark Gonzalez at Alpha is you want the latest info. on this one;

mark@alphatennis.com.

The Silent Partner website has some videos of racquets being strung. The users manuals for their machines also have instructions that are downloadable from their website. There's also a stringing tutorial on the s t r i ng f orum dot net. website. If you want to hook up with an instructor, the USRSA website has a list of MRTs that give lessons that is searchable by zip code,
www.racquettech.com .
