What do you think? I always enjoyed watching Cañas and I´m impressed with his successful comeback. It´s true he didn´t beat any top players yet but his comeback is being impressive so far. Rome and Montecarlo will be a real test for him but he will probably need to play qualies there. I remember his QF match against Puerta at the 2005 FO, it was a 5 sets match that could go either way and later Puerta reached the final and had set point to force Nadal to a 5th set. The main problem for Cañas is his ranking is still too low so his draw at the FO is too uncertain but if he meets the seeded hardcourters in the earlier rounds he has a good chance to progress and reach at least the QF. But do you think he is going to be a threat to Nadal and Federer at the FO, maybe not to get the title but to beat them?
