Cal Bears

Cal Bears in decimation mode after losing to the Cardinal. Cardinal is top 5 team anyhow. Cal was fake all along

Cal DESTROYED Stanford 4-0 and Stanford is a "top 5 team"...lol
I didn't know that a team can be in "decimation mode" and can sweep a "top 5 team"
Cal tennis is officially back and will make a deep run in the NCAAs.

Cardinal had some major injury issues to deal with. Fawcett had leg injury and couldn't move well at all. and Kumar has wrist injury and he couldn't hit any penetrating groundies because of it. Cardinal will decimate the Bears in Ojai next week..............lol

what are the general opinions about this year's men and women Bear teams?
Coach Goldstein had said, Cal bears have a Young team and they are improving every day. and they will be dangerous in the NCAA tournament. although we beat them fairly handly last weekend, it was much closer than score indicated.

the lady bears will miss ncaas....thats a shame...they ve 4 ranked singles players but popovic is missing all season

The bears beat nc state 4-1 this afternoon in Texas. Dropped the dubs point, then grabbed five of six first sets in singles. Important wins in singles by BG, JT Nishimura, Ben, and Paulie B.
Molloy and brumm played nicely, too.
Roll onnn, you Bearrrrs.

Cal bears fought well. and Bears showed why they have the best doubles teams in the country. But singles way too strong by the Cardinal. Cal needs 1-2 more strong singles players to be competitive in Pac-12.

Lost to Oklahoma State 4-2 today. Going to need to get those type of wins soon in order to raise their ranking from 47. The Oregon and Arizona matches will be huge.

Cal fans don't take this wrong but I always wonder why Cal is not better. They are never a threat to win anything ever. No chance at conference, indoors or ncaas. Weird Cal should contend, atleast sometimes

They are saving themselves for the NCAA tournament. Regular season dual match is meaningless
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha (takes breath) hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha….

Regular season dual matches determine the rankings and seedings for the conference and national tournaments, they most certainly do matter. You keep proving you never went to Stanford...

LOL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ROFL......................................

A team that does not get enough recognition on here is the Cal Bears. They do not play a creampuff schedule so they lose a good amount but that's because we play the very best in the nation. Cal has already played 3 of the top 4 teams in the nation. We do not load up with the UC Irvine or the Saint Mary or the Nevada like other teams do just to appear better. No Cal wants to get better! Dangerous team for the rest of the season.

What are your guys thoughts on the Bears?
You were right.

The Bears are about to take on the university of TX-Austin. Tough match. Lost to UT last year in the second rd. If healthy, Texas Is srsly loaded in dubs and singles. The Danish kid is unreal. So is yuya Ito.

I hope this is covered on the stream.

Sigsgaard is up and down but you're right that Yuya is rock solid. Should be a fun match to watch, I hope the rain holds off.

The draw will not include Cal - so they are not competing. Not sure why!
Possibly Fear of the Trees ?
