calibrating a prince neos

I have a prince neos machine which I bought used with no prince manual. I need to calibrate the machine and while I know how to use the calibration tool, I do not know how to adjust the tension on the machine.

Any help would be appreciated - yes, I know I should buy a manual - but, I need to calibrate the machine tonight.

Thanks

basically, you attach/clamp a scrap string onto the calibrator and lock your mount table. then pull tension (60lbs). If the calibrator reads more than 60lbs, then you adjust the tension screw counter-clockwise (i think, can't recall off hand) by a little bit and re-pull tension... adjusting the tension screw until you get as accurate as you want.

hope this helps.

that does indeed help. one more dumb question (from one without a manual) - where is the tension screw?

thanks

The tension adjustment screw is a small Allen screw on the front of the aluminum block that holds the catch for the brake lever. Turning this screw counter-clockwise increases the tension; turning it clockwise decreases the tension.
