yeah brown is Jamaican even though he was born in germany. i think either his mom or dad is from Jamaica and they might have moved down there for a bit. The Jamaican Tennis Federation never showed Brown any love
let's go Frank!
What's Franks story? Is he a grass court specialist or something?
The reason I ask is that it looks as if he's played less than 10 matches in 2010, and all of those have been on grass ..... Has he been injured? :?:

Frank is dancevic. he has powerful serve and volley game with big time serve. his backhand is his strength. inconsistant forehand. and also has very nice feel and touch at net. Dancevic beat Blake and Querry so he can play. and he has a HOT girlfriend. i Accidently hit on her in a tournament not know she was his possession.........:???:

Yeah, he's been injured since Wimbledon of last year, I believe. A back injury.
But, he's back now and his best results are usually on grass or HCs.. suits his style (like Fedace said, he's got kind of a S&V game).
Good to see him bounce back that quick. Hopefully, he's good for Davis Cup action, sooner than later. And, if he can get a wildcard, the Canada Masters in Toronto coming up soon![]()
apparently, he's what the announcer called "erratic."
that was one heckuva tweener by dabul last game, entertained brown so much that he sent the reply wide ....... but did manage to hold serve 2-3 (a break down in the second)
======= edit: this Dabul guy is the real deal. Comes from 0-30 down to hold 5-3
========= WELL! definitely not the match of the day (I hope) ... had high expectations for dustin brown, but he had just TMUE today.
Grats to Dabul, who's into his first ATP semifinal, 64 64![]()

For some reason, I'm guessing this could be the match of the day ... prolly because these two should play with a lot more emotion than was shown by Sam yesterday. It's the second of the 'center court' matches (first being a doubles match) and should begin in approximately two hours.
Dabul is one of the Argentine players I have yet to see, so I'm looking forward to that. In addition, these two are very close in their recent match records as well as their rankings and, I imagine, they're both "hungry." A couple differences are that Dustin is almost a foot taller than Brian, and Brian is a lefty. Should be a good one!![]()
. . .
Rochus= unstoppable
First set to the man from Canada and apparently angry words exchanged at the changeover.
Ryan Harrison rips a forehand DTL passing shot, the best shot of the match, on MP for the win.
[WC] Harrison d. [WC] Kudla 7-5, 7-6 (5)
Ryan is a very good player with all the shots including a really impressive serve and volley game....BUT he seems to struggle to point away points and tries to finesse shots rather than punishing them. There have been five points in this match so far with Bloomfield where he could have simply hit a hard shot right at bloomfield or cross but rather tried a lob, dink at the feet, etc.
....he is up a set....broke back in the second at 4-5 to make it 5-5.
The same thought occurred to me when he hit that lob at the net a few minutes ago. That was a very easy sitting ball, he could have easily roped it anywhere on the court for a winner. But he ended up hitting a lob that Bloomfield ran down pretty easily, and the Brit smacked an impressive winner off the lob. Ryan threw his racquet after the point, I wonder if that was a reaction to the great shot or to his bad decision?
I can't believe this nobody from Britain is giving him a hard time.
Bloomfield is actually a pretty decent grass court player.
No he's not. His serve is what's keeping him from being blown off the court.
Having a good serve makes you a decent grass court player...
