Can anyone compare the Pure Storm Limited to the PS 6.0 95?

As the title says, can anyone that has played with both racquets compare the Pure Storm Limited to the PS 6.0 95?

I've heard people say the the Pure Storm Limited feels like a ProStaff. Is that true? How about power, spin, control, touch, serves, volleys, groundies, returns, etc.?

Thanks

BP,

Even though some of the specs are similar, I wouldn't think they would play all that alike--the Bab is 18 X 20 and lighter.

But I haven't played with the PSL, so I can't state definitively.

I love the Pure Storm Ltd. but it is a shame beacuse I haven't been able to get my hands on a PS 6.0 95.

I hit with a PS 6.0 95 for less than an hour several years ago. That was the last time I can remember seeing one. I don't know anyone that still plays with one. I have a feeling that it might take a little searching to find a person who can give you a good comparison.

Actually, from reading this board it seems like there are tons of people here either still using the PS 6.0 95 or have used it up until just recently (and only switched because they can't get them anymore). I think the problem is that most of them love it so much that they don't want to try anything else.

You may be right here. As much as I loved the PS 85, now that I'm older I (and am used to a 95 sq. in. headsize), I think the PS 95 may have been the "better" raquet.

I played PS 6.0 95 for a few years. I find a lot of similarities between the two frames, and in my opinion, both frames play better with some lead on the head. BP, I don't need to say this, but you just need to demo it or buy one and find out for yourself. I think the string pattern is very well designed. Tie-off holes are very close to the last pull. The power is there with lead, VS Touch / BB ALU Power @ 58, balance at 323mm. Great all around racquet.

Thanks, firefox! :)

Do you think you could elaborate what some of these similarities are between the two frames?

BTW, that pic of the PS 6.0 95 underneath the PS Ltd. is unstrung, right? Because the string patterns shouldn't line-up with the PS 6.0 95 being a very open 16x18.

The PS6.0 is unstrung in the picture.

These are not based on any scientific measurements but just from my own experience. Hope this helps.

-similar physical dimensions - hoop size, beam thickness, very head light balance.
-both have great feel, great comfort.
-both are good serving racquets, but can't throw bombs in stock form.
-PS6.0 feels more hefty, has better swing weight for baseline play.
-PSL has great control, a little more stable, and more manueverable. I like the low power level but it's sort of a workout playing from behind the baseline.

I haven't noticed much hoop flex. The only time I can really feel the flex is when hitting heavy groundstrokes, and it feels very stable when it flexes. I think it's probably flexing more in the throat, or throughout the whole length of the frame rather than in the hoop itself.
