can anyone help me plz!

ok... i'm a awesome baseline player whose got the strength of a 8th grader. my swing is long and fast. i need like a new racquet cuz i broke the strings on my wilson triad 5 (it suked!)
and i'm going to buy either aeropro drive or pure team roddick. and i can't decide which is better so which is better?! and if there is a even better racquet i should look for tell me plz.

depends on what type of player you are mate.

If you want more spin and accuracy go with the aeropro drive.

For more juice on your serve and groundies go with the pure drive roddick STANDARD.

but don't buy any of these without demoing first. Other choices you might like are the Wilson n-six-one 95 and the RDS 001.

good luck

and i'm going to buy either aeropro drive or pure team roddick. and i can't decide which is better so which is better?! and if there is a even better racquet i should look for tell me plz. i want power but the racquet has to be decently heavy.

if you can generate your own power, go with the aeropro. It gives you nice feel and topspin on your shots.

If you want some more pop but can control your shot, go with the PDR Standard. It adds 10-15mph on your serve and has nice power.

The PDR is slightly heavier, but if you want the aeropro then just add lead to it. the aeropor is 11.2 oz. and the PDR standard is 11.7 oz.

You posted this twice. I have hit only with the babolat and thought it was alright, but then again I prefer heavier sticks.

El Diablo and AR15 - you guys really had me rolling about in hysterics! Okay, let's give the poor boy a break and hunt down his teacher ...

Jaxon - A+ for honesty. Suggest that you demo both racquets to see which one you're more comfortable with as they're both sufficiently decent for your style of play.

What an amusing post! Not full of yourself, are you "I'm a awesome baseline player", and who's to say the strength of an 8th grader is good, unless your about 10, which judging from your language may be true. Also, maybe just restring your racket, and don't buy a new one! And then, learn to write properly and then come back- until then, please don't!

1. This is a message board, not an instant message forum. Type in English (or your prefered language) correctly.

2. Strength of an 8th grader? I've met some weak 8th graders, and some stronger than some adults. Be more specific.

3. If we have not heard about you on TV, or read about you on the computer, I doubt you are "a awesome baseline player"

4. You broke your strings and you want to replace your racket? Okaaaay?

5. Why did you pick the Babolats? Have you tried them out before?

6. DEMO! DEMO! DEMO! Just insert your desired specs into the racket finder, and test drive some new rackets using Tennis Warehouse's great demo service.

i have the triad and it isnt "suked". try out the babolat purestorm instead of pd or aeropro. both of those might cause arm problems less so with the storm. the storm seems to offer just the right power and control.

Jaxon - The people here are generally very helpful ... but you need to give them better information if you want their help.

Just as an example: If you have "the strength of an 8th Grader" ... and you are 22 years old that is BAD. If you are 12, it's pretty good.

Think about what you would like us to provide you ... and help us help you. Lastly, don't post multiple versions of the same thread. That's considered spamming.

ok i need more help

I am 12 and i have the strength of a strong 8th grader. (i work out and play tennis everyday that's why i'm strong) i need a new racquet and have been asking for help at clubs but they are all rafael and roddick wanabes. therefore i'm encouraged to buy a babolat what do i do?

Try as many different brands as you can, and stop posting so many things you've already posted! OK, so you wanna buy a babolat cause people tell you to. First problem. So maybe if you want decently heavy (320-330) i'm guessing the Pure Drive Roddick could be a good option. Other brands have racquets in this category too. Go to www.tenniswarehouse.com and click on the Pure Drive Roddick, down the bottom it has Similar Products.

Since you're a strong 12-yr-old, you should be able to handle the 12-oz racquets. Here's a few that I suggest (no order of preference):

Wilson nCode n6.1 95
Babolat Pure Drive Standard (the new one with Cortex Technology) <--- I'm demoing this racquet this weekend
Head Flexpoint Prestige MP or Radical
Volkl DNX 10 MP
ProKennex Kinetic Pro 5G or Type C Redondo 98
Yonnex RDS 001 or RDS 003
Dunlop MFil 200 2006

I had very good experience with Fischer (red/black Pro Tour FT) but I'm not familiar with their latest lineup.

You would probably be best off with a solid tweener. Something probably about 10.5-11.5 oz at least 60 stiffness but a max of 70 (no need to kill your arm). Probably under 330 swingweight (your only 12) with a head size of about 98-103. Also, probably a slightly head light balance. Depending on how much you want to spend you should have some decent options. Here is a link of what i found using racquet finder with no price limit.

http://www.racquetfinder.com/FMPro?hsMin=98&hsMax=103&lMin=27&lMax=27.5&wMin=10.5&wMax=11.5&swMin=280&swMax=330&fMin=60&fMax=70&rbMin=-10&rbMax=0

I dont think the link works for some reason so just input those specs into racquet finder and you will find what your looking for.
