Do you think Djokovic can surpass Nadal's record haul at the French Open? He is only 4 away from tying.
The difference between him and the other two is that he is healthy.Of course not. At this point the toll of every additional year grows exponentially. He may win one more but that’s it.
Nevertheless he won’t win at 40. I know this gen is bad, but this is simply not happening. The difference between him and the other two is that he is healthy.
What if Sinner gets banned and Carlos suffers another injury, like last year with his forearm that bothered him the whole clay season? In 2023 he had that cramping at RG, elbow during the indoor season etc.Nevertheless he won’t win at 40. I know this gen is bad, but this is simply not happening.
ActuallyI'm afraid he's done winning slams. Well, if somehow Alcaraz, Sinner and Zverev all crash out before they meet Djokovic, he may have a chance, but under normal circumstances, he will lose to one of these guys. Even in form Meddy or a couple others might be able to beat him, this old Novak.
Actually
Zverev is a coward
If Opelka says no...Do you think Djokovic can surpass Nadal's record haul at the French Open? He is only 4 away from tying.
Agassi won 4 Australian Opens in his entire career.Yes. Djokovic is the king of the AO for a reason. Five AO's won't be too difficult for him.
LOL. Djokovic is 37 and on 10.

Give good Solonius a chanceI would not expect it.
Yeah. Even if he wins four in a row he would be 41. Completely absurd. He might win one more even this is not more likely than not imho. If he wins two more that would be among the biggest feats in tennis history. More than that is definitely not possible.LOL. Djokovic is 37 and on 10.
37 and 31 are entirely different.40% of those came after turning 31...
AO21 and AO23 were absolute trash draws and according to the 'scans', he was injured in both those events yet still won them...
He recovered from torn muscles in a matter of days to brush aside his sf and f opponents easier than he dispatched his corresponding R1 and R2 opponents in both years...
My point is that Agassi, in his time, was seen as one of the most dominant Australian Open champions, and he "only" won 4 Australian Open titles in his career. Yet here a poster (i.e. tennisjedi) was talking like a current 37-year-old Djokovic winning another 5 Australian Open titles "won't be too difficult". Ridiculous. He missed too many.
Even if he had played all of them he wouldn’t have won so many more. Agassi didn’t really have a sustained period of dominance. 5, or at the very most 6 would have been the maximum. He missed too many.
Even without Sinner no chance. There are Raz and Zverev, no way he wins four in a row. If he loses once, there is even less of a chance that he comes back and wins until he is 42.If sinner wasn’t around. Sure. The tour is pathetic. Djoker would probably be winning slams into his mid 40’s . But not with sinner in his way.
LMAOHe is only 4 away from tying.

Zverev doesn’t need to win a slam, he just need to beat Novak which he is capable of especially when Novak gets older. Raz is also good enough on HC and can likely still improve. I can see Novak winning this year maybe but no way he wins four more, not happening.Carlos isn’t very good on hards or consistent enough to where he would be a roadblock and Zverev couldn’t win a slam if you gave him a 2 sets, 5-0 lead
Lol, he is lucky to be making the main draw.Do you think Djokovic can surpass Nadal's record haul at the French Open? He is only 4 away from tying.
