Can Djokovic Surpass 14 AO Titles?

4 is not happening. 2 would be amazing. 1 certainly possible if the stars align, and if anyone can do it, Novak can. But he will need some help. Murray isn’t that help.

Unfortunately even 4 still wouldn’t make him the goat. Sorry, not sorry.
4 AO from here will not make him GOAT . It will make him LION who eat goats.
We all know that it is not possible for novak to win 4 more so you can say as anything you like but even #25 will be enough to put him at top. (If he is not already there)

My point is that Agassi, in his time, was seen as one of the most dominant Australian Open champions, and he "only" won 4 Australian Open titles in his career. Yet here a poster (i.e. tennisjedi) was talking like a current 37-year-old Djokovic winning another 5 Australian Open titles "won't be too difficult". Ridiculous.

Crazy Djok fans... completely devoid of reality

Even if he had played all of them he wouldn’t have won so many more. Agassi didn’t really have a sustained period of dominance. 5, or at the very most 6 would have been the maximum.

Possibly... or he could have won more... we'll never know. Like I said, he missed too many to add to his count.

We do know how he played in general during the years he skipped it and he wouldn’t be the favourite in most of them. I could see him winning 2002 and “possibly” one of the 91-93 editions but even that would be a stretch. More than two more I cannot see.

I’d be surprised if he even wins one. What will his seeding be this time round. Without checking, I think he is still top 8, but below that he is meeting top players from r16 onwards.

Right, so my point stands... had he played more, he possibly would have won more...
