Can Hubi Hurkacz win a slam in future?

I know that there is still a big group of people who dont believe in him but i think he deserves some respect. He is like poor's man Murray with big serve and good net game, he is actually more offensive tho. He has some good wins over good players already (defeated Thiem twice in two meetings, 2:0 against Rublev, went toe to toe with Medvedev in both of their meetings, he should have won the second if it wasnt for Djoko smash, played extremly tight 3 sets match against Zverev on his the worst surface clay or has beaten top10 versions of Nishikori and Schwartzman + had some good showings against big3 members - IW19, W19/21) + good runs (Miami 2021,Wimbledon 2021 and couple of smallers titles where he defeated Shapo or Korda to win it).

He is by far my most favorite player, not because of his game exactly, just because he is lovely person.

Do you think big HH can get his one big run? I think he got his shot on grass (Wimbledon)and maybe NA HC (US Open).

Well he beat Raonic, Shapopalov, Sinner, Rublev and Tsitsipas in Miami. 5 top-20 including 2 top10 in a row. Definitely a stronger field than the other Masters winners this year. His Miami run should not be overlooked. If he could play this well in a Masters he can definitely do it in slams. He beat 2 top10 again in Wimbledon and had MP against Medvedev again this week. Had he converted it he would probably hold the trophy right now. He is absolute garbage on clay and he is very inconsistent but on grass and HC when he plays his best tennis, he can beat literally anyone. He is one of the most complete players on the tour, no big weakness.

So yes, he can. Will he, I don't know, but he definitely can. I think he will win 2. 1 Wimbledon for sure, and maybe 1 AO.

Why not. In a few years it'll be just a bunch of randoms at the top of the game. Pretty much anyone will be able to won a slam post Djokovic.

Berrettini took a set off of Djokovic. Even at 34, I didn't think that was possible for him. This means, he was playing very well this year.
He was injured though...To be honest Djokovic choked serving for the 1st set. In other ways Berrettini gave djoker a test of his own medicine by stealing a set

Nope, he doesn't have any weapon, he's ordinary in everything. Before this Wimb, he never made past 2R of any slam. Berrett, Tsisipas, Zverev and many others are way above him in talent and potential.

Probably not.

Roland Garros is out of the question, and I don't think either of the hard court slams are likely. He's got a 3-6 combined record at the AO and USO aged 24, and there are many better hard court players among his generation - Medvedev, Berrettini, Rublev, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Korda, Norrie and Ruud have all registered higher game %s in 2021 on hard of those in a similar age range to Hurkacz.

Wimbledon is a maybe, but many things would need to fall into place for it to happen. Djokovic should be standing in the way for several years yet, and beyond him Berrettini is the clear no. 2 and a better grass courter than Hurkacz. If a situation were to arise a few years down the line where those primary contenders were out of the way, he still wouldn't be a lock because there are many players in a similar ability bracket on grass.

Good luck to him, but the chances look pretty low to me.

I'm not saying Berrettini is a great player, I'm saying he played great this year at Wimbledon.

He's definitely more than a "Serve-bot" like Raonic & Isner! He worked Fed over @ Wimbledon; very impressive win even if over an old man! Others didn't beat him! ;)

Stop being so negative. HH has as good chance as any for Wimbledon outside of Djoker.
And if we are to believe Roger, his body felt fine, so that Wimbledon bagel was no fluke.
