very good davis cup player

practiced with nadal in off season and at o2. offered training with murray and has practised with him

He's dangerous on grass. I think he should get a wildcard at SW19. Unlike Bogdanovic who CLEARLY didn't deserve the ones he got.

There are many guys between number 100 and 300 that have the potential to be in the best hundred but mentality and luck also play a big part. Same thing betwen number 10 and 40 almost all of them have the quality to be around top 10 but in the end not manny do it.

Ah, Bogdanovic...a talented guy who just couldn't hack it on the big stages (not much better on the smaller ones either). 8 wildcards he received at Wimbledon and 8 times he failed to win a single match there! Undoubtedly the biggest headcase amongst British male tennis players in the last decade and that's against some pretty stiff competition! :(

At least Ward managed to win a round at Wimbledon, back in 2012!

(PS. I totally disagree with your signature by the way!)

Being a brit it would be nice to have someone else coming up along side Murray.

To watch i think he has a better rounded game than Dan Evans , who relies heavily on his slice backhand.

With Ward however , in my own very humble opinion, i think he struggles with the day to day grind of the tour and plays and responds better with a team around him. (Such as Davis Cup) He seems to play very well for his country, and then has a brief up turn in form shortly after before slowly sliding back down the rankings once more.

I think he lacks the self belief to "consistently2 beat the sort of caliber player you have listed. Although no doubt has the talent to do so on various occasions.
you are welcome to disagree with me if you feel im wrong.

Good luck to him , i hope manages to improve his ranking more to top 100

I think, or at least hope, he will, even if it's only for a short while.

Ward and Evans will hopefully inspire each other to be the best they can. Neither is going to compete with Murray, so they should focus on the fact they are both capable of very respectable careers.

id say anthing but lacking firepoewer he has a great serve (mardy fish said that), big backhand, forehand a bit meh, everything Is wuite good
