That aside, your idol would have loved benefiting even more from "the decline of tennis level", just as he benefited greatly from the absence of true claycourters over the past two decades. Sadly for you, he wasn't good enough. Even his opportunistic avoiding tactics that brought him much undeserved success in his heyday failed him.
