Can Stan win 6 slams by end of career?

Lets assume stan plays 5-6 years on the tour ending his career in 2021. Can he win another three majors and will he surpass Murray in the future in the grand slams? If stan does win six majors he is on par with Becker, Edberg, Wilander as one of the true all time greats and a top twenty player in the open era.

Stan might win another 4, might as well win nothing. If any, he should put his head down and pull it next year. If he manages to record a great year in 2017, get 2 slams that means, he has chance for one more in 2018. If he gets one or nothing in 2017, then that'll be the end of Stan the Man.

I think he does have at least three more left. He does not seem to physically slowing down, has shown that being 31 means nothing in terms of going best of five and his fitness is on par with the best. He beat Nishikori and Del Potro with relative ease. He peaks for slams and finals .

Can he, yes. He certainly has the talent to do so, and the fact that he seems to match up Favorably against Novak in big matches helps a lot. Hes a legit threat to win 3 of the 4 matches, and an outside contender at the 4th. The question is though, will he? He certainly seems fit enough even after a decade of years on the tour and being 31, he's definitely hit his peak at a later age than some tend to. But will he want to stick around another 3-6 years? Thats the question. Sure he looks great, and the fans love him, but its up to him saying he wants to keep going. If he does, power to him, I love the guy and would love to see him add to his trophy case.

Too hard to predict him. Lots said he won't win more than one after the AO, then many said no more than two after the FO. After he won AO, I personally thought he *could* be good for 3 or maybe 4. From what I saw of the USO and how he talked about how he has matured in his training, etc, no to mention that he is kinda a "young" 31 year old (in terms of overall matches played in his career), I would say it's not impossible for him to hit 5 slams. Another benefit for him is that the two worst match ups of ATG - Roger and Rafa could completely decline or go out the door while he still plays at or very near his peak. There are less of the newer or younger generations that can defend the way Novak, Andy and Rafa can (or once did).

I think he could get repeat wins at the 3 slams he has won. Now winning Wimbledon? that's going need some real luck on the draw and mental focus like he has never shown before.

Why on Earth would we assume a guy his age would be able to compete at the top for another 5 or 6 years?

Since the dawn of the graphite era, only a tiny handful of guys have ever played and even been relevant that long. And unless I'm mistaken, exactly one of them has won exactly one Slam title past 31. And that guy had a once-in-a-lifetime freak game that was super-efficient, and super-conducive to aging well.

0-2 more. But neither would be Wimbledon.

Basically this, wouldn't be surprised to see him never win another given his age and everything else. Not to mention he's been pretty poor this year other than the US Open (even within it he didn't look much good until the Quarters). But can't rule him out maybe for another year or two. But not at Wimbledon.

After more than a decade of just winning the odd Mickey Mouse event, Stan suddenly decided to up his game and start winning Slams in 2014. Since then he's limited himself to 1 Slam a year. He's 31 now and seems quite strong and fit so, even though he'll be 34 by the time he completes the task, it seems doable (especially if he keeps playing Djokovic in the final). He may well end up being the oldest male player ever to win a Slam.

Go Stan!!!
