Fritz has been playing some of his best tennis, the level and consistency has been very good. But can the King finally overcome his ultimate challenge under the lights of Ashe?

Fritz has already lost this match. It's in his head. Too much scar tissue, as has been said. Even if serving well, his serves will be mostly mitigated and the rest of his game is inferior, particularly his strategies and capabilities compared to that of even a 38 year old Djokovic.

The only outlier of course is if Djokovic suffers physically at all.

The best current player born in the 90s versus a 38-year-old player in decline.
Who will win?
8-B

0-10 vs Djoker but surely this is his best chance?

And why is Taylor being referred to as the King?
There is only one King. Let's get that straight.

where do these images come from? lol

On topic, I hope Novak goes through. Carlos-Novak would be a much better match up rn, especially after what happened at AO and Novak seems to be in decent form here.

Weird that Fritz is ranked higher than Djoko, being inferior and all

I’m not saying Fritz will win but you have to be blind not to see that the equation has shifted a bit

Aside from that time when Djok had a muscle tear in his guts at the AO, you’d have to think this is Fritz’s best opportunity to date. I think it’s highly unlikely though.

Who would be the bigger underdog if they played today:
Fritz vs Alcaraz or Djoker vs Alcaraz?

Suspect that the younger Fritz would be given the much better chances of beating Alcaraz.
It got to be Taylor! I'm not impressed by his shots so far, right back to the opponents!

Not a weak era slam finalists like 3-4 years ago so he's not winning or getting far. if they were weak era players, Zev, Tsits, Ruud, Berr, Jyrios, the OP's king would win.
