Can you throw 225 lbs into the air?

Those fake weights were too light. He couldn't even convincingly fake it. They should have used two real 45s and two fakes so you could tell he was holding at least some weight.

I can throw 225 into the air, but not with a bench press. I doubt I could even do 225 once in the bench, but then I almost never bench. The bench isn't very relevant to tennis as can be seen by looking at Sinner and Medvedev.

Yeah. He didn't do a good job faking the lift.

The most I could do these days is probably around 190.

20y ago i used to do 225 for 10x. unfortunately never accomplished my goal of 3 pizzas... did 305 x1, but never got better than that...

[edit] these days, i'm happy if can throw 9 quarters in the air.

You should have joined the NFL combine.

I do not have any exceptional athletic feats that I can claim past or present.

The only mildly okay one is that I used to be be able to jump over the tennis net posts with two feet together in a single bound.

Nowadays I can barely scissor kick jump over the middle of the net.

Given I haven't been to the gym in about 20 years and even when I did, the bench press isn't a thing I did very often the answer is no, probably not

I can barely bench anything if it has to be bar to the chest.l...torn labrums and rotator cuff damage will do that. Guess how I got those injuries? Benching 235 for reps down to my chest at my strongest probably 10 years ago. Not worth it long term. The video is an obvious goof if you watch until the end.

I remember the proud day when a dumb cook served me a tuna fish sandwich with disgusting onions,
and with super human effort, I lifted it up, and threw it back into the kitchen!! Uhhh,...does that count??
