Yeah I understand how the stronger player must have felt. No enjoyment in beating up on a significantly weaker player - not fun, and does nothing for your tennis.
Funny how some people are perfectly fine with having competitive mismatches caused by someone playing up against a much superior opponent, but then complain bitterly about much smaller mismatches caused by a player perceived to be under-rated.
The way I look at it, of course the most enjoyable matches are those where my opponent and I are about equally matched. But outside of that, I'd rather play someone stronger than I am than someone weaker.
