Cannot overstate the importance of this Sunday for the Next Gen

Sunday is possibly the most important match yet for the next gen. Djokovic has looked vulnerable, hasn't played anywhere to his best but still has made the final as expected at his pet event. Medvedev is coming in probably the best form of his career till date, has the edge over Djokovic in their past few meetings and is playing undoubtedly the best tennis of the tournament. It will be a huge shame for me to see Djokovic again prevailing on Sunday despite all the momentum with Med. Tsitsipas's win over Nadal was undoubtedly a huge step for the next gen but it will all amount to nothing if Med doesn't finish the job on Sunday.

Hoping for the Russian Mad Lad to save Tennis on Sunday!

The Russian is the favorite, Medvedev is playing at his best again, like in late 2019 when he won 2 Masters 1000 in a row and reached the USO final. Djokovic, on the other hand, looks vulnerable after losing 5 sets before the final despite playing the #114 in the semifinal. Djokovic is also 33, meaning Medvedev has the stamina advantage in case the match gets longer.

Anyone checked in on @Meles? We tried man, we really did.

Tim couldn’t be expected to do it at the best of times, let alone after winning USO20. Fair enough.

We all jumped on board the Mad Lad train and held our noses despite a few foul odours, particularly in the forecourt. But it’s fair to say that he, Zod and the other pretenders are off the pace. Way off.

Huh? It is the Djokovic’s created allusion. Straight set win (#9 AO) and last two sets were 2,2! (y) :)
