capping mg radical mp

i tried to cap my friends mg radical mp with a mg prestige mp grommet but it seems that some parts of the grommets are not fitting through the holes... any idea on why this is happening?

also can someone tell me an alternative because i cant get my hands on any tubing.. the the nibs near the bottom are too short i think

yes, they're a little bit short but enough.
i can say the the gormmet is not 100% fit, may be say 95%..... especially at the top 2 holes. but it can be fit into the racquet with the help of a string machine...

You can heat up the grommet set so it will stretch but just enogh for it to fit in
