Hi! Im struggling with a pronator teres soreness for almost 2 years. If i play over one hour in intense mode, I usually have to stop.

Does anyone know what arm sleeve is Alcaraz currently using? The brand.or something?

Thank you.

That's probably not going to really fix your problem. Techniques, equipment(racquet, string, tension), resting and physical therapy are where the answer is found in 99% of the cases.

Do you have a pronator teres strain or the syndrome? You should get it diagnosed by a doctor. The syndrome might need surgery sometimes.

I have tried everything. I have donde xrays, MRI, physical therapy, eccentric strengthing etc

I got some tennis lessons just to make sure that my technique was not the problem.

I can hit forehands and backhands nornally. The pain starts nornally with my serve ans some volleys.

An elbow specialist just told me that its a muscle problem. No strain, no syndrome. My pronator teres starts to hurt, I have to stop for 3-4 days and the pain dissapears. Its just psiycological exhausting to be monitoring it.

I thought that maybe wearing a sleeve could help.

What kind of muscle problem? So, the MRI showed no strain or syndrome, but there is some kind of muscle problem affecting your pronator teres? Did he recommend any PT?
It starts to hurt at the point that I cant even hold my racket. The diagnosis is always "muscle soreness" or "muscle contracture" because it gets better back to normal after 3-4 days of rest.

I have done a lot of PT, including indiba, dry needling and strenghting shoulders, back, serratus etc

Its so frustrating because If i want to be pain free, I can only play a couple of times per week and holding myself back.

Sorry to hear that. Hard to know what to do without a diagnosis of the problem. If you are having numbness in addition to pain, you should definitely see another doctor to get a second opinion. Otherwise rest it for a month and see what happens - the healing period for muscle strain issues is 4-6 weeks. I don’t think a sleeve will help much.

Is it possible he is still using the earlier model with higher RA rating an a PJ?
Alexandre Muller seemed to be swinging the earlier model in some matches this week
when he beat Rublev he had way more power than the Russian.
