Alcaraz has sadly peaked imoYou think? It's really hard to see anyone but Novak winning but I am secretly hopeful in the young guys this time around.
It's too nauseating to just imagine. What if
Carlos RG and YE number 1
Djokovic 2 slams and OG
Sinner 1 slam and ATP finals?
All three fans will be happy
No, he has not shown his true level on clay or hard courts.Alcaraz has sadly peaked imo
Even nothing "undoubtedly" about that. Zverev ALWAYS said the Olympic Gold is the biggest title, before and after he won it. And when asked in an interview if he would exchange it with a Slam title (like the lost US Open final of 2020), he was laughing as if that was the most absurd question ever and then said "Obviously not".I think based on your achievements your priorities can change. With no slams the priority is undoubtedly a slam, but with already 2 an OG seems like a good addition just for the rarity factor.
He really hasn’t!Alcaraz has sadly peaked imo
Olympic's strict doping test might explain why Novak struggles there and looks like his c tier version.
Yeah, strict doping that allows this guy with these quads to be able to compete at the Olympics.

Here comes another Djoko b 0 t to defend his hero , expected but again never does it when his own fanbase does it go other players. Lmao .
Good grief FeroBango - SURELY you understand that the great wisdom of some on TTW supersedes the facts and evidence, as well the assessments of experts / pundits who anticipate yet more great stuff from Carlos. Please immediately go to the naughty step and stay there until you realise the error of your ways !Not Rafa fans saying Raz has peaked just because he sucked indoors (made the SF of WTF in his first attempt) and failed to defend the USO.
Cool, except the OG goes to Sinner. What if
Carlos RG and YE number 1
Djokovic 2 slams and OG
Sinner 1 slam and ATP finals?

Then the entire year is a disappointment for nolefams isn't it. I think clay will not belong to sinner yet. Even tsitsipas will have bigger claim.Cool, except the OG goes to Sinner.
Geez you guys are so greedy, it’s unbelievable! Then the entire year is a disappointment for nolefams isn't it. I think clay will not belong to sinner yet. Even tsitsipas will have bigger claim.
The final is Bo5 right?Oh no no no
It's between the three of them in bo3 Nole would rob Rafa from the medal for sure
Not with that attitude! He's not winning it lol
I don't think Tsitsipas is beating Sinner ever again, chicken legs figured out the greek BH, plus Tsitsipas post Badosa has been utter trash. Then the entire year is a disappointment for nolefams isn't it. I think clay will not belong to sinner yet. Even tsitsipas will have bigger claim.
Probably winning wimbledon gave him back a bit of his soul tooI see Carlos is prepared to go slamless next year. Perhaps the Djokovic experience for a full year already took a bit of his soul.

Okay, never mind, I'll join you on that naughty step. If a favoured other player had achieved Carlos' superb year in 2023, that player would be lauded ad nauseam. on this very board. For example, Sinner ( a great potential for sure ) is apparently the next Djokovic or Federer, depending upon which of these 2 Maestros is the favoured one. And apparently JS WILL win this or that title, WITHOUT DOUBT!. He WILL win in ALL indoor tournaments and most likely ALL the hardcourts as well. He WILL single handedly 'save tennis' from the 'weak era'.
The utter rubbish spouted on this board about the over-hyping of Carlos is nothing more than tunnel vision based on dislike, and hypocrisy writ large.
That said, let's acknowledge the obvious - that no player is beyond a slump or decline, and this includes Carlos. I consider it unlikely but acknowledge the possibility.
Finally, the boy has stated a preference for the Olympic Gold if he can choose one thing in 2024. He hasn't said he WILL win it or that he WILL win a grand-slam or anything else. When asked after winning the match in Riyadh what his aim is for 2024, he said that he would like to improve his game and improve as a person. Superb stuff.
Carlos is hailed as a young phenomenon and has already proved himself. Health / fitness permitting, he is likely to continue to do well. Those writing him off can whistle in the wind.
CHAPPEAU, CARLOS! Wishing you yet more success!
I see Carlos is prepared to go slamless next year. Perhaps the Djokovic experience for a full year already took a bit of his soul.
He got his soul back that he lost after RG, after that Djokovic took bits of his soul back on the Cincy final and WTF semi.Probably winning wimbledon gave him back a bit of his soul too
Fine by me. If the youngsters take over al 4 slams then that’s cool. Novak has the slam record so it’s all goodIm hopeful in the young guys for next year at all majors. I think Alcaraz and Sinner will clean up, but for Alcaraz the AO conditions dont suit his game imo so it will be tough for him. A Sinner vs Alcaraz AO final would be great though. The sooner they start playing each other in major finals the better off the sport will be.

Nah we Spanish fans are all about the slemz baby.I think based on your achievements your priorities can change. With no slams the priority is undoubtedly a slam, but with already 2 an OG seems like a good addition just for the rarity factor.
Also what's he supposed to say, value a slam more and risk offending Spanish fans?
If you microdose intelligently you’ll never test positive. The mastery of microdosing is the reason we see all these late career superstars in so many sports.Yeah, strict doping that allows this guy with these quads to be able to compete at the Olympics.

The WTF Semi was his most disappointing match by far of 2023. Cramparaz was just "**** happens" and a learning experience about conditioning, Cincy was a classic that could have gone either way, USO was disappointing but that was just a case of a Zoning Med playing out of his mind. He was starting to play like the old Carlos at the WTF then, thud, got embarrassed by Djokovic, I did NOT see that coming. He got his soul back that he lost after RG, after that Djokovic took bits of his soul back on the Cincy final and WTF semi.
Nah dude, Sinner is going to beat him in 2 sets at every HC slam from now on. He won't even make it to 3 sets to prevent risk of further embarrassment at the hands of Jannik "Never been past a Slam Semi at 22 years old" Sinner.Good grief FeroBango - SURELY you understand that the great wisdom of some on TTW supersedes the facts and evidence, as well the assessments of experts / pundits who anticipate yet more great stuff from Carlos. Nah it was the RG semi to me, that was a winnable match and he came out of the gate super nervy. The WTF Semi was his most disappointing match by far of 2023. Regardless, I look at 2024 as a fresh new start for him. Knowing what we know about him, I bet he comes out firing in Australia.
lol I will take that too. Better if Med wins a couple just to **** off TTWFine by me. If the youngsters take over al 4 slams then that’s cool. Novak has the slam record so it’s all good![]()

The testing keeps them within safe limits and the dosing makes sports better.
Well now it’s not a secret. Nice going Kral next thing you know you’re going to spill the beans about the secret toady ca-…nnabis.You think? It's really hard to see anyone but Novak winning but I am secretly hopeful in the young guys this time around.

Winning wimbledon against Djokovic gives you a lot of soul back, he probably still got to spareHe got his soul back that he lost after RG, after that Djokovic took bits of his soul back on the Cincy final and WTF semi.
Count the number of Alcaraz hype threads created on this board from September 2022 to the present day.
Count the number of Alcaraz hype posts seen in any TTW thread from September 2022 to the present day.
Numbers do not lie.
He is still yet to prove he got his soul back. Losing the next 2 matches against Djokovic, losing the next slam and losing the n.1 plus YEn.1 are pointing to the other way. Perhaps it is too soon for any conclusions, we will see how he fares in Australia.Winning wimbledon against Djokovic gives you a lot of soul back, he probably still got to spare

YesThe final is Bo5 right?
He will have plenty of chances to lose/win his soul in the next 5 years then.I think unless Alcaraz loses in a slam match to Djokovic, he hasn't lost his soul, LOL.
I mean wtfI don't think Tsitsipas is beating Sinner ever again, chicken legs figured out the greek BH, plus Tsitsipas post Badosa has been utter trash.
Perhaps Mickey was indeed right.
He will have plenty of chances to lose/win his soul in the next 5 years then.
Me tooHe can take it! I’d much rather Djokovic wins a slam vs OG.
It isn't really. You don't have to be a god to exploit Tsitsipas BH with the right strategy, Sinner has been working on that strategy in the last few matches, the same game that Djokovic and Alcaraz perfected. That hole is too big not to be exploitable.I mean wtf
Sinner is no god. He has won some tournaments. You guys are making him way bigger deal than he is. Never is such an exaggeration.
Sinner on clay is lesser player than Tsitsipas. Alcaraz is far more natural clay courter than Sinner will be.It isn't really. You don't have to be a god to exploit Tsitsipas BH with the right strategy, Sinner has been working on that strategy in the last few matches, the same game that Djokovic and Alcaraz perfected.
