Roddick, Hewitt and Baghadatis are really nothing compared to Medvedev, Sinner, Hurkacz, and Auger-Aliassime. Besides, Carlos seems like a guy who has other interests in life than to keep hitting a ball until he’s 45 years old like Federer. Anyways, that’s not the point.

The point is I believe The Spanish Achilles has what it takes to take Federer’s game to the next level. He'll be performing and playing tennis at a higher level. That he’ll do should he put in the effort. His backhand and serve still leave a lot to be desired and not at Fed’s level yet but he’ll get there. Federer kept improving even in his 30s so Carlos has a lot of time ahead of him to improve.

One more thing, I’m not sure of this but I can see him becoming even a more popular player than Federer in the future. Two reasons, he’s better looking and more personable in the social media, all what’s left is success which is coming his way soon!

When it came to Federer's competition, you left out Novak, Rafa and Murray who Roger played throughout most of his career. No doubt, Alcaraz is a great talent but other than Sinner, the rest of the players do not compare to Novak, Rafa or Murray.

Roger had losing records against Rafael and Novak, and enjoyed the privilege of stacking slams during their toddler years. Closer analysis reveals that once each man's prime began (Nadal 2008, Novak 2011) began, Roger went a disappointing 11-16, and particularly brutal 10-21, respectively. Now while Roger had an uncomfortably close winning record against Andrew (14-11), even taking the cruise during his childhood phase, the great man put out an 8-3 against this opponent following 2012, a dazzling testament to his ability to overcome the best of the rest.

Roger put together some truly astonishing records during the 2003-2007 years. While some might attempt to invalidate these achievements by pointing out his era's weakness as equally historic, I and my fellow Fedfans know better. Sadly the fairy tale had to end - but who better to end it than the two players who would surpass him?

He is imitating Djokovic, and Djokovic is actually imitating Federer because he wants everyone to like him.
I don't know about the whole doping saga. I haven't followed it so closely. My impression is, if there was some cheating, Sinner wasn't told about it. Why tell a player that you are putting enhancing performance chemicals in his body, and burden his conscience. He'll play better if he doesn't know, and you can collect paychecks from his winning.
