It was always funny how people mocked Nadal for injuries, but from the beginning talked about how his physical style of play would lead to injuries.

The whole time, the only player who was always playing with injuries or issues has been Djo. I said after the first round we needed to get to the presser to see what alignment was going to be his "tough badge of courage" this AO.

They defintely got him "prepared" suddenly again, and what a warrior to play with such devastating physical and mental trauma.

It does look like he is mocking him and I've only seen this now so a bit surprising he did this but like i've said he needs to focus on himself. Whatever issues his opponents are having has nothing to do with him. This goes for all other players. As soon as they see their opponent having physical issues they think they can relax and drops their intensity and start thinking of other stuff rather than trying to focus on what they have to do. Alcaraz knows better himself that he lost to the better player on the day, Djokovic really was that much better after set 1 in almost every aspect of the the game, especially serve and return he knocked him out the park.

This stuff with players getting angry at their opponents cause they aren’t folding when they show signs of physical issues is just pathetic.

Djokovic would never in a million years let that kind of stuff affect him.

Dude he got cramps

I can understand Carlos. I would be mad at the fake injuries as well.

I'd be mad at myself, not the opponent. Djokovic wasn't even running for balls at some point, and Alcaraz still struggled.

The superior player on the day won, that's about it. Everything else is just copium.

Have you ever played higher level competition tennis and understand what that does to you?
Its a hard task to keep your level, when your opponent is injured and cant play, the way he usually does. From one moment to another, it puts huge pressure on your shoulders.
And since Novak is known for his fake injuries and MTOs, thats another aspect that upsets you.
Very hard to stay focused.

And yes, i consider Djokovic the GOAT and better player than Alcaraz.

IMO, it's mockable because Djokvoic is known for his play pigeon, medical antics. But, flip side, what good does it do Carlos? He's oddly bad at adjusting mentally when Djokovic is "managing an injury" and it really seems to get under his skin and throw him off. At this point other players should try it and see if they can get Carlos to blink

Next time, learn to use the bathroom break for a quick shower while Djoko is using a fake MTO or a bathroom break of his own.
Drenching in sweat while your opponent refreshes & rejuvenates himself is a stupid AF idea.

Alcaraz has cramps in every 2 matches. He had one in the middle of the 3rd set against Borges. It's common for him. Usually lasts 5 minutes and now he can control them better. I see zero reason to think he was mocking Djokovic. And zero reason to think Djokovic lied about his pain. The painkillers and the massage helped him, it's that simple. Unnecessary useless polemics and fake news as usual.

Tiny was furious and he's mocking Novak but he's lucky he got injured if not the result would've been even worse for him.
