This guy gives Nadal more warnings than anyone, has he got something against Nadal? Or just an honest guy doing his job?

What reason would he have to hold a grudge against Nadal? Did Rafa insult his family and spray graffiti on his house?

My instinct is to say 'doing his job' - but we don't know because we don't know if the chair umpires are getting any guidance on how to enforce the time rule.

I think this is overblown (Pam Shriver is such a loser). It's not like the other player doesn't benefit from the extra time.

In general I wish more umpires called Nadal out on this, good for Carlos.

Although in this particular occasion the court was very, very windy. It makes sense for a player to wait until a particularly strong gust of wind abates. I was not paying close attention when the warning happened, but both players had sometimes to stop the play for this reason.

Rafa should get warned more(he will learn to go faster this way) but the one from today was uncalled for.

It was very windy and numerous times the crowd was too noisy so the players had to wait a bit. They even escorted one guy out.

Even the biggest Nadal fan should see his time wasting. When he stops wasting time, the warnings will stop as well.

Eh? No I wasn't referring to you, it was that the only person who voted "he has a vendetta against Nadal" was the thread starter. :)

Hell, on here, Fed beats Jennifer Anniston in a poll as to who looks better in a skirt.

It's obvious that it is a revenge for Ramos as Nadal rejected him:twisted:.

Does anyone know what that outburst Nadal had at the changeover was about?
