Caroline Wozniacki

A Danish friend tells me Caroline Wozniacki will be a future top 10 player. I have only seen her play a few games at the Liverpool tournament; she seems very talented but has a few flaws in her game. She won the Wimbledon junior's title in 2006.

Her father came to Denmark to play football (soccer) with a club and both her parents are Polish. She is very Danish herself, very outspoken and not afraid of harsh language, but always having a smile and friendly -- a great personality and also an attractive young woman.

Anyone know more about her game?

From my limited knowledge of her game, I remember her being a fairly talented ball-striker, consistent off both wings with enough power. Serve has room for improvement...volleys...volleys...haven't seen it.

But then again that's typical of the women's game anyway. One to look out for. If she develops mentally and physically to her potential, she'll definitely be a name you hear often sometime in the near future.

I've seen her play live. What impressed me is that she doesn't just have a power game. A lot of touch, dropshots, slice, etc. But she's got the power too (for the women's game, that is). I think she will be top ten.
