Casper Ruud - lead tape

Hi Guys,

Did a quick search and could not find anything about what im going to ask.

Im watching Ruud vs Ramos Vinol at the moment and I noticed that he placed his lead tape different, its now at 12 instead of 10/14 o clock. I can imagine it is because of the grass, but has anyone an idea why there at 12 and why it helps him on grass? Didnt look at pictures of his rackets at hardcourt events of there was any diffrence in lead placing tho. I have seen him only playing with lead at 10/14 o clock.

thanks guys!

Could you be talking about the "Isometric" logo at the top of the hoop?

Do we think they’re making his racket heavier to account for it or he dropped the weight?
He could’ve dropped the weight. Honestly I saw this with medvedev during clay court season. He had 7 grommets of lead 9-10 and 2-3 then removed it for grass and hard courts. I can’t confirm it Ruud had lead before clay court season

He probably adds and takes away lead depending on the surface (ie: he wants quicker swings on grass/hard to react faster, and to have heavier spin balls on clay wiith more time to prepare and take full cuts)
