I currently use a 300G with a bit of lead tape on it, but I think it is still below 11 oz. I am looking at some rackets that look like they would be good, but they are at or around 12 oz. Does anyone think that an ounce or more weight difference from one racket to another is too big of a jump? I just don't know if I would be able to handle and maneuver a 12 oz racket well enough. Anyone else increased weight so much?

I seem to handle a racquet that weighs about 11.5 ozs. best. However on a good day, I can use a PS 6.0 95 weighing 12.5 ozs. with no problem. If I stuck with it and was dedicated to working out and keeping in shape it would be no problem. You also need to keep your feet moving and prepare early with a heavier racquet.

I play with racquets weigh around 360-370 grams (12.7-13 oz) , and I love them. but when it goes up to 13.6 oz (Yonex R-23) , baseline game is good but net play is a bit hard for me. I mean, afterall, it's 13.6 oz you know.
