changing grip shapes

im thinking about changing to the LM prestige Mid and currently have a PS tour 95. however, after trying out a LM instinct, i noticed the different grip shape. my question is...how difficult was it for those who actually changed grip shapes? and how did it affect your game?

Maybe it's just me, but I just can't get used to the Head grip shape on my 1hbh. It just feels very awkward, like the side of the handle is so tall that I can't get a good grip on it. It's not ideal on the forehand either, but is really noticeable on the bh side. I think people with larger hands might not have an issue with it.

Yep, the Head grip is terrible. Search for a few threads with my posts in them about changing its shape...

yeah...thx to both leog and gaines....im a 4 1/2 grip...so i was thinking like maybe go to the shop...compare the two sides of the more rounder sides...then getting one that is the closest to the wilson one (probably around 4 1/4 or 4 3/8) and getting balsa wood and gluing it on...but one problem...what about the butt cap?

It probably won't fit. You can get generic butt caps at TW and other tennis supply houses.
