No, I doubt it is your shoes that is the cause of your drop in serve.just switched from my unremarkable reeboks to a comfy pair of diadora blushield torneo 2 AGs...and my serve has gone in the crapper literally overnight.
anyone else experience something like this simply by changing shoes?!?!
It’s possible just because of how different materials, heel-toe (ball of foot) drops, and other shoe metrics can impact your biomechanics. But it’s probably something else at play like your body is tired or you just had an off day.just switched from my unremarkable reeboks to a comfy pair of diadora blushield torneo 2 AGs...and my serve has gone in the crapper literally overnight.

fwiw these shoes couldnt be more different.
the reeboks are light with a thin/firm sole, not much padding.
the diadoras are portly with a thick/pillowy sole.
