Creative, if it works it works, don't fix something that isn't broken.
Altough maybe make it a little bit heavyer or add something to simply strap it to the fence, don't want it to fall when you hit it.
I
It stays on pretty well. It hasn’t fell yet. I use it a lot too
Rather safe then sorry, but good to hear!
The hooks look like a wall mount cloths hook? The telescoping rod? Can you explain the parts are?
At 12 ft up is the service line on far side over the net tape?
I will be at Walmart tomorrow and take pictures of all the parts I bought from them

Cool, all set for next year now. Been standing on 5 gallon bucket to wrap flex tripod, this should get me to the top easier, thxI took pictures of it but it won’t let me upload it so I found it at Walmart.com
I place it at the T and almost to the top of the fence.

I just made a similar mount today. I got a monopod from Amazon Basics, the towel hook used above and mounted my GoPro Session. Rather than duct tape I used zip ties.
I also zip tied a battery pack to the monopod so I could record longer.
Worked really well ... I'll post a pic of it shortly
Thanks for the idea!

That's nice. Do you guys both use same camera and what is the camera?
I'm using a "gopro hero session" got it used last year with a 64GB sd card for like $80 or $100 (I forget the exact price)
With these GoPro's you can't view the video on the device itself right?
Correct, but I'm pretty sure you can view it on your smartphone … but you probably wouldn't unless it's a small clip like just a couple serves or something. Also you can use the phone to make sure it's pointed correctly at the court.

How is the sound quality? Can you hang it up high on the fence and hear the ball pop and/or be heard talking?
Does it pair with a mic?
