I love the Yonex VCore 98D but the wallet doesn't like them:). So I was just wondering what racquet plays like it but is cheaper, it could be lighter or .1 or .2 ounces heavier. I checked what rackets play like it on TW but I couldn't find enought "cheap options" to demo. I would like the racquet to be under $110 if that's possible. I did a search on the TTW forum but found nothing conclusive.

    Thanks

My first recommendation would be pick up one used from the boards here or somewhere like the bay. Other than that, looking through TW's sale racquets, I would think the RDiS 100 mp would be the closest.

There is a plethora of racquets with those sort of specs to go through. Here is a short list that I came up with from the Sale racquets, all of which have had positive reviews: Pure Storm, Delta Core Pro, 4D 300, 4D 500 Tour, Radical mp, Extreme, O3 White, PB9 and RDiS 200 lite.

Well nothing's going to be an exact match,
but you might try the Yonex RDis 200, Dunlop Aerogel 4D, Volkl Powerbridge 9.

Or you could be patient. I picked my RQis1s a few years ago at a discount when the new RDis took over. I'm hoping in a season or two, I can pick up either the VCORE 89 or 95. For now, I'm still enjoying the feel and tinkering w/ the weight.

you really can pick up a racquet at 25-50+% off here on the forum if you don't mind it being slightly used, or having cosmetic damage or something like that

VCore 98 Team, same head shape, lighter.

I play once a week with a EZONE Xi Team, made in China, still very good racquet, didn't break or anything, very soft with Poly Tour HS I got a very good control and a crisper feel.

I think people is missing the point that no racquets will play like Yonex, due to its head shape and maybe some other factors.

Just a quick question, how come the LM Rad MP is considered low power on TW but on the power maps is shown is more powerful in all but two places.

Don't believe in these articles, a couple months ago TW had one of those articles from TW University in which said some multis gave more spin than some polyester.

VCore Team 98 would be better than a 10 year old head liquid metal.:)

The wallet still doesn't like the Team 98. Also I'm thinking about the Prince TT Warrior. Anybody have recommendations on a demo list.

RDis 200 lite may be your option, even I am thinking about that one for $99 bucks.
