Does anyone know how to make this LIVE WEBCAST launch on the front page of China open website ?? looks like Online webcast but i can't get it to work ??????

Ivanovic will overtake Safina as WR #3 if she wins the title here.

Kuznetsova will overtake Sharapova as WR #6 if she reaches the finals.

Yeah! Ivanovic won! 6-1, 7-6(1). She actually played very well especially in the first set, approaching the net more and being aggressive. Winners (including service) 26, unforced errors 15
It's the first time she won in straight sets since R1 of Wimbledon.

Up next for her though is Zheng Jie...

QF matchups:
Jankovic[1] - Hantuchova[7]
Zvonareva[5] - Garrigues
Kuznetsova[4] - Cibulkova
Ivanovic[2] - Zheng

I watched Ana's match today and she really isn't playing with much confidence. Her strokes weren't clean she numerously played the wrong shots and didn't have belief to go for winners and/or build up the points. Come the timebreak though, she had much improved from earlier on in the match.

If she can get past Zheng (which won't be easy, especially with the support Zheng will get) I don't think she'll be too disappointed. She'd've made it to her first tournament semi final in a while.

Still Ivanovic managed to advance to last eight even carrying injured along with her. Well still no news on the return of princess Sharapova. Most basically by next year i guess as she's too busy right now with her schedule of photoshoot and promotion of Sony Ericsson.

Okay sir,

Tell me something, are you going to be at the Aussi Open 2009? I am asking because I might make a a trip to Australia for the 2nd time in 8 years, but my 1st time to Melbourne.

Cool. Pretty cool to have a trip especially on tennis, dude. Due to some unforseen circumstances i don't think i can be there by next year :(. Do enjoy your trip and do snap photo especially on Sharapova haha just on behalf of me.

Well, she didn't play bad in the first set although Cornet was pretty nervous at the beginning there and made a lot of errors but I agree Ana played a pretty good tiebreak in the end.In general Ana just seems to lack confidence at the moment which is undertandable, she'll bounce back IMO it's only a matter of time.I'm not sure I would favour her against Zheng at the moment though(Zheng won their last encounter at Wimbledon and will have a home support)so we'll see.

The moment you see her face without a doubt you will fall in love with her immediately. Till then immediately you will change your mind and support on the beauty russian rather than your blackie Venus. Oh yeah who knows by the times, Venus in deep **** will going to call early for her retirement. If Sharapova still in fine form no one able to beat her. No no to Serena as well.

What is it with Zie Zheng and 3-hour matches?
Except for the 2 setter where she excused AI from wimby,
every other match of Zie's I've ever seen h/b @ 3 hours!

Anyway, she's little but she's the star today.

Jelena makes the final.

Jankovic - Zvonareva 6-4 2-6 6-4
Line judges were really bad in this match.

In the other SF Kuznetsova - Zheng 4-4 in the first set.
Zheng just broke back.

Jelena is rolling. 6-3
plus 1-0 in the second.

She's got a contingent cheering her on with the Serbian flag and signs that say Macedonia.

both players wearing extra clothing tonight (and pretty much all week) Jelena's got some lettings on under her dress (black leggings, yellow/white dress). And Kuz had on a warmup jacket and pants when she first came out, now has removed them in the second set.

It's 59 degrees in beijing now.

and jelena breaks for the first time this set to go ahead 3-1.

oh, brother! one of jelena's patented fear of success moves -- she gets broken by Kuz.

Kuz serving to stay in the match 2-5.

transmission is rotten, very jerky.

Nice passing shot by Jelena to win it
~~ 63, 62 ~~

congratulations to Jelena Jankovic and to
Andy Roddick for their China Open Finals.
