Chinese translation needed

Hey guys, strangely enough this has something to do with tennis :p Curiously my mate wants to get a Dostoevsky quote tattoo on his chest and turns out its the same quote as Tipsarevic has on his forearm

"Beauty will save the world"

Im wondering if anyone can translate this into chinese traditional or simplified for him ? he said he's having some trouble finding the proper translation and i said i'd post on every forum i was signed upto :p

At the moment he has this:

美丽將拯救全世界

All Help would be fantastic !

See he wanted someone who actually spoke chinese to translate it not some computer :p because most internet translations do literal translations which are not always the same meaning.

Presumably he wants it in Chinese because he wants people to ask him what he says.

He'll grow out of that, but the tattoo will still be there.

Would mods care to explain why my first post in this thread was deleted? Is someone trying to be a dictator around here?

I agree '美將拯救世界' sounds better.

And this is one of the rare cases where you can actually translate literally. That's why online translator works here.

"美拯救世界" would be better, "美將" resembles "American General" too much, also "美拯救世界" sounds more like a "cliche" in a good way if you know what I mean. Also one less character so less pain and less expensive.

Your friend is getting a tattoo in chinese eh?

Hard as nails

lol, the translation actually meant, "Not-ugly saved the world"

no big deal.

美丽is "not-ugly"?? I didn't know Chinese education in HK was that poor. 美丽(beautiful) should be kindergarden level Chinese, give me a break.

No wonder there are so many misconcepts about China. The foreign reporters probably get their news of China from people like you!!

I like "美拯救世界" though I don't see "美" resembles "American General". Perhaps beauty is only in the eye of beholder. :D
