I've really enjoyed this series.
I've been very critical of Evert's ability as a commentator over the years. There's no way around it, she has been very poor in that department, driven by the fact that she has barely had a clue about the majority of the players she has commented on beyond Serena, Sharapova etc.
But I think she excels in a more informal environment like this, or when she speaks to Sue Barker in the Wimbledon studio etc.
she has her ups and downs as a commentator, but overall i like her. the main thing that annoys me is she always interrupts her co-commentators and chimes in on the last few words of their sentence.I've really enjoyed this series.

Similarly when Sue Barker chatted with Evert at Wimbledon one year, Barker said it drove her mad that her brother had Evert's poster on his bedroom wall during their playing days. One story I like is in the interview with Barty. Evert talks about how she was playing against Evonne Goolagong in Florida, which is her home state, and yet the audience was pulling for Evonne!

Agassi is actually a great commentator and has guest-ed a few times during the USO the past few years
This was it. The confirmation of Navratilova jeering over her beating Evert 40-something years ago with the other two awkwardly forced to watch it.For those interested there is a series of interviews between Chris Evert (the first WTA #1) and past and present #1s.
This is the link to the premiere
Everyone seemed to love Evonne, for her game and court personality. Also, though she probably wanted to win, she never seemed upset when she didn't. Rosie Casals said that Goolagong-Cawley just loved playing tennis. Absolutely loved being on a court, everything that came with it was a bonus.Everyone seemed to love Evonne, for her game and court personality.
