Chris: what to demo alongside Head Radical MP 2021?

Hi Chris,

I've played a bit with the new Radical MP and have enjoyed it so far. I am considering it as a possible lighter and more powerful replacement for my Youtek IG Prestige Pro. I've also seen that you playtested it, but the written review is not out yet. I believe you also playtested a bunch of racquets that look pretty similar to the Radical MP spec-wise, e.g. the Babolat Pure Strike 16x19, Head Speed MP, Tecnifibre TFight 305 RS and TF40 305, the current gen Yonex VCore 98 and EZone 98, etc. I was just wondering if you could share your thoughts on these frames and suggest which of them I might want to demo alongside the new Radical MP?

Thanks!

I'd pick from the Speed Pro, VCORE 95 or 98 (both great options), Pure Strike 16x19, Dunlop CX 200 Tour (pick your string pattern), TF40 305 and Phantom 97P. Expect a crisper response from the Strike and Radical, then the VCOREs with the CX and Phantom being the softest. IMHO not a bad racquet on that list so should be some fun hitting!
Cheers,
Chris, TW

I'd put the TF40 between the VCORE and CX. All 3 have similar RA measurements, but on court I rate them VCORE (a solid and dampened feel), TF40 (plush and precise) and CX 200 (softest, plushest feel).
Cheers,

Thank you Chris, this is very helpful! I'll probably try to limit myself to two rounds of demos and I'm also very tempted to try the Pure Aero VS, but it's much easier to pick 6 racquets out of 7-8 than out of 20 :)
