Oakley flak beta they are
Idk ask Tipsarevic and Istomindoesn't those things fog up or get Sweat all over it while playing ?? I never seen Chung acutally clean that thing. I am thinking if you get sweat falling off your head and get it all over the glasses, won't it be tough to see thru ?

He seems to take the glasses off every few points to towel his face off. With that frequency, I doubt he has issues with droplets on his lenses. I play in my everyday glasses and rarely have issues. Have some clear lenses on the way for my sports frame and will be using them for playing. Can't wait.
I'd imagine at this point Oakley, being part of the largest optics company in the world (Luxottica, who also own Ray Ban, Lens Crafter, and other famous names) would have RX glasses pretty dialed in within the technology limits we currently have. Not sure how helpful Samsung would be to partnering to that pursuit. But who knows.I noticed the same thing @krisdrum mentioned. He seems to have a routine around very regularly taking the glasses off, wiping the area around his eyes, and also wiping the glasses too.
Two of his biggest sponsors are Oakley and Samsung so they may develop special glasses that help maximise his game in the future.
Does anyone know if he ever wears the tinted prescription sunglass version? I've always thought if I could get used to wearing sunglasses it would be a huge advantage on the court protecting your eyes and also minimising glare.
Maybe that mindset will make it cooler to wear glasses as a kid. They aren't prescription, they're CUSTOM!Isn't anyone who plays in glasses which have individually tailored prescription lenses/tint level basically sporting 'custom' lenses? Hey, I've just typed this post wearing 'custom' reading glasses - cool!!
Not sure I see a difference compared to what I see on the Oakley site for that model.Meant the shape of the lense is custom
Good question, actually. I wonder what rules will be set regarding this as technology advances.Could sunglasses be considered illegal enhancing help?

If you watch closely you see him using towels and his shirt between points. I have actually the same problem with sweat on my glasses. Are there any glasses with windscreen wipers? That would be interesting.doesn't those things fog up or get Sweat all over it while playing ?? I never seen Chung acutally clean that thing. coca-cola make them.
good 'ol coke bottles.
I wonder if it's not being addressed in tennis because the disadvantage of having to clean your glasses between points is seen as off-putting enough to counterbalance it.Even at the current level many glasses offer considerable advantages.
Anyone, who was at a shooting range or has been doing any type of outdoor activities, for that matter, would know about that.
The question is, does he need to go through checks for some sort of compliance to established limits, and what those are?
I wondered about the same thing with Tipsarevic or any player, who is wearing sunglasses on court.
Thanks for the info.I use prescription glasses on court a very curved frame so I have almost perfect peripheric vision, the problem with these is the fogging, the sweat is easily fixed with a head band but the fogging used to give trouble, in night games it was torture while serving and the lights hit the fog, I searched for solutions and bought many antifog products that didn't work, eventually I stumbled across the perfect fix, every night before a game or practice I put a drop of liquid dishwasher soap on each side of the glasses and let it dry there, then I just wipe it and the fog is gone.
Oakley turbine.Thanks for the info.
What brand and model of glasses?
