Yes this is a bold prediction, but IMO Cilic may reach RG final.
Right now he is completely destroying Medvedev. Next up is Rublev, who whould have lost to Sinner had not the latter injured his knee.
Semis, Rune or Ruud. Rune is inexperienced unlike Marin, and the pressure may lay down on him. Same goes with Ruud.
So what do you think, can Cilic reach the final

Let's just say whoever makes the final from the top half will have a 1st-round-quality match for the final. :)
What makes you think that? Yes Cilic, Ruud etc. Are most probably gonna lose to Rafa/****ovic-eh sorry Djokovic or Alcaraz. Not counting Zverev, because we all know why #0-11.
But they should put up a fight, a decent fight imo

Do you think djoko/Nadal/Alcaraz vs Cilic /rublev match is worth wasting 4-5 hours ??

Il spend quality time with my family or friends on Sunday .
Yes, and it kinda annoys me that everyone ( according to some trolls on this forum) who is yet to win a slam or does not have at least 10 slams under his belt is a mug, loser, weak era champ.
Nonsense, Cilic is a great player so is Rublev, hell anyone who gets inside the top 10 has his dreams come true

I think he can. He’s got the most experience on that side of the draw. He’s won one before and been in a slam finals except this one. He has the game and mentality to get there on this much weaker side of draw.

The draw was terrible, worst ever. Even the 1992 draw wasn't this bad.

First the idiotic 1 vs 5, 4 vs 8 QF nonsense, thrown in some years ago just to enable easier manipulation.

Djokovic gets to play Molcan, Rafa gets to play FAA. Former coaches, hello.

And then people still actually believe that in this multi-million-dollar industry the draws aren't fixed.

Laughable.

Cilic is a great player or at least was. Not the past few years.

Slam champion in a very rough Era. That said, he has no business being in a slam final at his age at RG.

Click and Rune have been my dark horse players that could blow up the draw. Seems that might be a thing actually, but I am not surprised. Both looked VERY good coming into RG and play well on clay.

Life is once and my time is limited .

Pardon , I don't have time for Djoker /Nadal/Alcaraz vs Cilic /rublev .

Cilic is not rafa or Roger. Plus, Cilic lost two of those finals and it was several years ago. He is not the same player.
Right now I am watching Eurosport and Wilander asked Henman, give me 3 reasons, why Cilic has not won more slams.
Wilander said, 3 reasons. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. That means he is an excellent player. And severely underrated

Cilic has played really solid tennis from the start of this tournament, he hasn't even dropped a set (Is that a good judge of form?).

I think he can take Rublev and Ruud/Rune if he keeps up his form. Can he take Djokovic? No, Nadal? No, Alcaraz? No, not in my opinion.

Rublev and Ruud? Yes he can. He actually might reach GS final
Unfortunately I have to agree with you that he most probably is not gonna upset Djokovic Rafa.
However if Alcaraz reaches final, I think that he stands a chance. Experience and pressure. Alcaraz is overhyped IMO, and this pressure can do him bad in the final.

Im not watching the final if Ruud makes it I swear to god, that 250 merchant should be nowhere close to contending for a major

Wilander sat under cover at Wimbledon while Cilic came over and talked with fans in the ticket resale queue.

game set match Cilic

Rublev will beat Cilic, but Ruud/Rune wil beat Rublev.

One way or another, whoever of these men gets to the final, he'll be destroyed no matter who'll be on the other side. Even Zverev will destroy anyone from the bottom half in the final.

This Cilic will wipe the floor with Zverev

I mean it's not that bold a prediction at this point, is it? :-D I would say it's either him or Rune. The thing with Marin is that you never know at which point he's going to...

it can come at any moment. I remember when he destroyed Rublev in Australia, and then started out the same against Felix, and then halfway through the match just turned back into regular Cilic.

When it comes down to it, Medvedev hits flat, this is not his surface, and when he plays from where he plays Cilic can pretty much do what he wants. You would think all the other guys will put more pressure on him.

Anyway, I'm pulling for Rune, but if he's not ready then I hope it's Cilic. I love the guy, and when he's playing like this he's one of the best in the world to watch. I hope he at the very least makes that SF, which will put him in the SF club, and that's a pretty special place to be. If he makes to the F club. Well damn.

I hope so too. I love Cilic, his groundies on his day are ridiculous

Outside of the Big 3, Cilic might be the one player over the last 15 years who is capable of GOD mode tennis. It's always a sight to see, especially when he can maintain it for more than one set.

Hmm Wawrinka. Wawrinka's peak- AO 2014, FO 2015, Monte Carlo 2014 was just insane

Yes he was. My point is he is not that player anymore.
