I can see any of the four guys remaining - Rune, Ruud, Cilic, Rublev - making the final.
The temps will warm, which will affect results.
Cilic has played at by far the highest level of the 4 thru 4 rounds, with a higher Dominance Level (return points ratio) than even Alcaraz, Djok, and Rafa. But I don’t trust him to maintain that level as the conditions change.
I give Rublev a slight edge to advance.
Rune is positioned well for a good run. With his excellent 2hb DTL, he matches up well against Ruud and Rublev, who both have poor backhands and like to camp out in the bh corner like Tsits. So as long as he doesn’t face Cilic, I could see him making the final.

It’s really stupid to think that they would rig the draw like this, it’s a really bad outcome for the tournament!! Too much conspiracy thinking and not enough rationality.

Well he is still talented and experienced. But he had beat one top 10 all year until med and it was on HC. The win vs med is not that impressive as med had never been a clay courter and had zero prep for it.
Cilic is about 70% of his prime and never was great on clay. He should not be a finalist. Period.

If he plays like he did today he will win the whole event as he was unplayable. He was unstoppable.
Highly doubtful he will ever produce that again in his career. Looks like Ruud will make it.
Whatever happens it's been a disaster for Roland Garros. Viewing figures after tomorrow will collapse as tomorrow is the defecto final. No idea if the draw was fixed or not but clearly Roland Garros needs to introduce it's own seeding system. Having Medvdev as no.2 seed was always going to prove problematic.

Saying some people do bad things therefore implying you should believe that the ATP are rigging all the tennis draws is absurd. Presenting it as a choice between the ATP are rigging the draws or believing nothing bad has ever happened in the world is really dishonest.
