Ive been saying since Miami federer has flattered to deceive and later i think cilic will tear him apart.

Cilic does everything bigger here now in 2017 and with federers cumbersome movement i can see him getting creamed in straight sets.



With the obligatory false dawn intro it's time to get to the very heart of the matter. The TTW Federistas are in complete denial of the threat Cilic poses. From handwringerering at Auz now we have gross overconfidence in the face of all facts?(age, no return game on grass for years) This menace must be stopped:

Ugh Marin came out so well, such a great match to start, then Feddy dumps him on the ground and he falls apart physically and mentally.

Remember 2015 US Open and the change in weather due to rain and delay and it became a returners paradise, and on top of that it was peak Novak Djokovic. I have high hopes for Roger in the North American hard court season. I would consider him the number one favourite for US Open.

He's been trying to upend my prediction that he wouldn't make WTF this year. Admirably, but now the truth is out on his arm and its pretty clear both he and Murray need to get 100% healthy if they want to compete with Fedal.

I'll tell you I was quite excited with Nadal's stats around and after the US Open (and this was with a bum arm.) If he's not had too much taken out of him by the Muller match he's the only knight that can slay the Federer dragon the rest of this year. It's just too early for Zverev on hard courts even if he does hit the ground running in US Open Series. Maybe he could Delpo, but highly doubtful as he just doesn't have Delpo's track record (Delpo won a lot of hard court Summer of 2008.)
